Initially, we had already begun the process of building through another company, and were unhappy with the customer service as well as the pricing offered. One Saturday morning, I went in to Hudson and asked for some help regarding building costs and procedures as I felt we were being overcharged.
I profusely apologised to the customer service representative I was speaking with, as at the time, it wasn't going to be a sale for Hudson, but he assured me he didn't mind helping and went through a whole lot of information with me. The generosity with time and information, coupled with our love of Hudson Homes helped us to make the decision to change builders. We are so very glad we made that choice and literally feel like we were saved from making a huge mistake!
From the moment we asked Hudson Homes for advice, to where we are now (waiting for water board approval before lodging to council), nothing has been too much trouble when it comes to customer service. Hudson Homes have been extremely flexible in allowing us to chop and change our inclusions so we can build our dream home and stick to our budget. Every team member who has played a part in the process has gone above and beyond.
We loved our colour appointment with our Colour Consultant, and after spending that time with her, have every confidence in her advice and thoughtful suggestions when we didn't know what to go with. She was honest with pricing and helped us to choose everything we wanted and needed while keeping to our budget. There were a few things that we liked on paper that were not yet on display in the colour studio experience!
Our tile appointment was also a pleasure, and we were once again extremely grateful for the colour advice and opinions to help us make our decisions. We have been kept informed on each step in the process so far and our questions (and we have asked plenty of them!) have always been answered promptly.
