The inaugural 2016 Wadalba Community School P&C Markets was a huge success. With the sponsorship from Hudson Homes and the support from the community the Wadalba Community School P&C were able to raise a total of $7,500 for the School.

“We would like to thank Hudson Homes for their support that helped us raise funds for our School. The money raised has gone to directly to our Wadalba Cup initiative and have attached a certificate of appreciation for your records.

The ‘Wadalba Cup’ is a school wide system that promotes school spirit, engagement and comradery from K-12. House teams of both students and teachers earn points in all areas of school from academics, sporting, social, community, and compliance, with the house earning the most points at the end of the year winning the ‘Wadalba Cup’ and going on a bonus excursion.

We estimate we had over 4000 visitors on the day and have received fantastic feedback, so we think the Markets were a great accomplishment in creating Community Spirit.

Building on the success of this year we are having another Wadalba Markets, scheduled for 12th March 2017.”
