From Dream to Reality: The Rodricks Families Story

In April 2014, we were fortunate enough to be able to purchase the first house and land package offered in the new Menindee Ridge Estate on the beautiful Central Coast of NSW.

Straight from the beginning, the correspondence we received from Hudson Homes was very impressive. We never had to wait hours for call backs or days for a response to a simple email question or request, our phone calls were always taken & emails responded to promptly.

Everything was explained well & we were never pushed into anything or felt pressured by rigid time restraints or massive price hikes if we didn’t get something done in time. We were always met with pleasant & friendly people who were willing to do anything to make the process as smooth & enjoyable as possible.

The building process began in the first week of October. We were fortunate enough to be able to see the progress of the construction & were astounded by the fast pace of the process. This definitely was not at the detriment of quality or thoroughness at any point. We were able to go for a walk-through of the build once the frame was erected & at that point, we met our site supervisor, who was just as informative & friendly as the rest of the staff at Hudson Homes.

Originally the time frame for completion was five months, which then became four months & before we knew it we were talking about the possibility of moving in before Christmas! Our site supervisor ensured that all the tradesmen were arriving when they should & doing the jobs as required in a timely manor so that our dream of being in for Christmas could become a reality.

We got the keys to our home 11.5 weeks after the construction process began, three days before Christmas! Our dream had become a reality. We moved into our perfectly beautiful, luxurious home & in time to share Christmas & bring in 2015 with all our family & friends.

Without the dedication, commitment & organisation that Hudson Homes has provided to us our dream would not have been realised. Building with them has been the most rewarding, fun & exciting time of our lives & we cannot wait to build another home with them again in the future. But for now, we just want to enjoy many happy years’ of living in our amazing home as we continue to pinch ourselves every time we walk in the door of what feels like a display home (with our furniture in it!)
