The team at Hudson Homes are proud to announce we are the naming sponsor for the Hudson Homes Wyong Town Plate event being held on the 13th December from 12pm at Wong Raceway as a Class 4 – 1350m event.

We have a long-standing relationship with the community of Wyong with the Central Coast being one of our main building zones.

We are always looking for ways to give back to the community and the residents of Wyong which is why we felt that sponsoring the new race is so important. To celebrate a year of achievements and to show our appreciation to our tradesmen, Hudson Homes will be hosting a large function at the Wyong Raceway. As our business would not be the same without them we wanted everyone to enjoy a private marquee on the lawn where they can take in all the raceway action.

The history of the Wong raceway started when the first track was constructed in 1912 from sawdust produced from the local mills. As the town grew a new grandstand was built costing twenty-two thousand pounds in 1955 which is equivalent to $741,166.67 in today’s time. We love seeing how small communities grow as time passes, and everyone at Hudson Homes are honoured to be a part of the Wyong’s expansion. We look forward to being apart of the Wyong cup in future years to come.
